A more flexible stock rule
The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns. Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. Relaxed Spider on ydywjj.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs.
The relaxed difference
Here are the details for this mode. The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant.
Ten columns and a stock
A few details help explain this feature. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up.
Descending rank placement
Keep these points in mind. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card.
Follow one suit
Keep these points in mind. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column.
Keep space available
The following details apply here. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column.
Bring in another row
A few details help explain this feature. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination.
Collect matching runs
A few details help explain this feature. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column.
Practice the variant
Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
Resume locally
